Warm Lemon Broccoli Sprout Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 cup broccoli sprouts
- 6 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: red chili flakes

Instructions
- 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions. Reserve about 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3. Stir in the lemon zest and fresh lemon juice and cook briefly to blend the flavors.
- 4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet along with a splash of the reserved pasta water. Toss gently to coat.
- 5. Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the broccoli sprouts so they remain fresh and crisp.
- 6. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and season with salt, black pepper, and optional chili flakes. Serve immediately.
