A good pesto can be the base of so many scrumptious dishes. Have you tried making pesto? What about adding sprouts to it? This is another great way to amp up the nutritional value of your foods and / or hide veggies (for those who want to eat healthier but don't like to eat their greens.)
Below is a very easy recipe that makes enough for 2 or 3 different dishes.
Broccoli Sprout Pesto
Ingredients:
¼ cup olive oil
1 cup fresh basil
2 garlic cloves
¼ cup broccoli sprouts
Dash of salt
Directions:
Add ingredients to a food processor and chop until smooth.
