Ingredients for 4 servings:
-15.5 oz extra firm tofu
-6 tablespoons of coconut liquid aminos
-4 tablespoons orange juice
-1 teaspoon of paprika
-½ tsp black pepper
-½ cup of Fullei Fresh Bean Sprouts
Slice the tofu to approx. 1/2 inch thickness.
Place between paper towels and squeeze to remove excess water OR weigh down with heavy objects and let stand 20 minutes.
To make the marinade, combine the rest of the ingredients (except the bean sprouts.)
Place the tofu in a baking dish, pour the sauce over, cover tightly and store it in the fridge. Allow the tofu to marinate at least 30 minutes.
Preheat broiler with rack 6 inches from heat.
Turn tofu to coat both sides with marinade.
Remove excess sauce and reserve for later.
Broil, flipping once, until golden brown and crispy (approx. 5 minutes per side.)
Place the tofu and a layer of bean sprouts.
Repeat layering until all tofu are used.
Pour the extra sauce on top of the bean sprouts.
You can eat it together with cooked bok choy or rice for a perfect and balanced meal.
